Our Story

A Historic Landmark
Since 1938

The Historic Port Theatre has been a cornerstone of arts and culture in Port Saint Joe, Florida for over 85 years. Originally opened in 1938, this beloved landmark stands as a testament to the community's enduring love of the performing arts.

Located in the heart of downtown Port Saint Joe at 314 Reid Avenue, the Port Theatre Art and Culture Center continues to serve as a gathering place — hosting live performances, film screenings, and cultural events that enrich Gulf County residents and visitors alike.

Following the devastation of Hurricane Michael in 2018, the theatre community has rallied to restore and rebuild this irreplaceable piece of local history. Your support makes this revival possible.
